VICTORY MOOOOOOOD!

Slowly finding our feet in our new corner of the countryside, exploring the local villages, discovering new favourite spots and trying to enjoy this in-between chapter.

Moving house has been a bit of a whirlwind, and whilst I’m very much ready to feel settled again, I’m also reminding myself to appreciate this part of the journey. It’s not often you get to start a whole new chapter of your life.

The countdown to getting the keys is officially on, and I can’t quite believe how close we are to calling somewhere new home. 🏡

Here’s to new beginnings, familiar routines and everything still to come. 🤎 comment SHOP for the outfit

Rep. Haley Stevens, the Michigan Democrat who lost to Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in their primary earlier this year, endorsed his Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers.

The striking cross-party endorsement ratcheted up the tension in an already contested race. The Michigan election is one of a handful of the most closely watched contests in the country where both parties are battling for control of the Senate, which Republicans lead 53-47.

“I don’t belong in Abdul’s campaign,” Stevens said in a video post on social media. “A dear friend of mine earlier today was saying today that education was on the ballot and she’s absolutely right. What our students see, what our children see and who we are as Michiganders is not hate, and is not what we’re getting out from our Democratic nominee right now.”
