PART 1: I really wish I had photos of the drive. Special thanks to the driver who collected me from the airport when I arrived in Glasgow early in the morning, deliriously tired and extra chatty from the lack of sleep lol. For the record, thank you for the assurances that you were not just taking me to the middle of nowhere, sorry I was a complete disaster, but thank you for the lovely conversation all the same 😂 I had intended to sleep as soon as I got to my accommodation, but, of course, ended up walking around enjoying the early morning sunshine. How could I not?? It was surprisingly warm and incredibly beautiful. Very welcoming 😊 The last slide is when I finally gave up the ghost and got a nap (23/05/2026)
