Taking in more of the festival. Bonus pics of me trying to get a nap and instead sweating to death in my caravan (which, for the record, I do not own—I was just staying in one for the festival 😆). It was surprisingly hot every day and, frankly, I was completely unprepared for it (24/05/2026) by @inkieskyes

PART 3: Before the @spider_ink_music soundsystem set at Knockengorroch Festival. Warming up in rather hot caravan (who knew my first trip to Scotland would be during a random heatwave?). Singing old favourites puts me in good form, even when they’re sad songs because I’m feeling blue. Featuring Tonight, Riding For A Fall, Stay With Me, I’ll Be Waiting, and I threw in Lips Of Wine there at the end to bring the mood back up a bit lol. (23/05/2026) by @inkieskyes

PART 2: I woke up from my nap and decided to venture out of my caravan to check out the festival, as I’d never really been to a proper festival before this one. Finally got a coffee and some gorgeous food and felt slightly human again. Shoutout to @brettnewski, really enjoyed your set, lovely meeting ye (23/05/2026) by @inkieskyes

PART 1: I really wish I had photos of the drive. Special thanks to the driver who collected me from the airport when I arrived in Glasgow early in the morning, deliriously tired and extra chatty from the lack of sleep lol. For the record, thank you for the assurances that you were not just taking me to the middle of nowhere, sorry I was a complete disaster, but thank you for the lovely conversation all the same 😂 I had intended to sleep as soon as I got to my accommodation, but, of course, ended up walking around enjoying the early morning sunshine. How could I not?? It was surprisingly warm and incredibly beautiful. Very welcoming 😊 The last slide is when I finally gave up the ghost and got a nap (23/05/2026) by @inkieskyes

PROLOGUE: These first few slides are Limerick at 10pm in May, the first of the really long summer days when it stays light til very late. I do this thing before I go away where I take a bunch of pics of town so that I can easily access them in case I start to get homesick for the things that have become so familiar to me over the better part of the last decade. On this particular evening, I was catching a late bus to Dublin Airport for an early morning flight to Glasgow. I was blessed with the opportunity to perform with Spider Ink sound system as well as Spider Ink as a full band at Knockengorroch Festival in Scotland. It was an incredible weekend that was nothing short of transformative ♥️ It is difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for the experience, and how thankful I am to be able to be part of it. I have been so busy this summer that I am just getting around to posting about this amazing weekend (with its albeit kinda tiring travel days 😂) now lol. And if anyone’s still reading this rambling caption, this post starts in Limerick, sees a red sunrise in Dublin Airport, and ends up in Glasgow (22–23/05/2026) by @inkieskyes

We had an incredibly busy week, but managed to work in one of the first showings of The Mandalorian & Grogu when it arrived in cinemas. It was so much fun that I actually didn’t take any pics besides these of us getting coffee before the film (22/05/2026) by @inkieskyes
