Feel a bit disappointed that I haven’t rlly made much music or rlly did anything other than working this year feel like I wasted the first half of it lol, getting back into both vocal (been on hiatus since January) and instrumental right now though, I did make some beats this year but not enough to release it, this is my last month in High Point b4 I move to Boone, going to Back2Zero Durham show w my brother b4 I leave

I think the reason I took so long to get back into vocal stuff is ever since mid-late 2023 where I locked into trying to be more authentic in what I say I’ve been rlly critical of what I make & how I sound and what I say etc, I would get talked down a lot when I was younger so I think my brain constantly does that now when I do anything just cuz it’s what I’m use to and I need to get over that lol, I’m tired of ppl playing with my money and emotions I’m only buying beats and features and working with ppl that fully believe in my vision and aren’t in it for only payment or to scam me or as a marketing tactic or ppl who didn’t even like me as a person from the start and whatever else, the reason D&W lost files didn’t get finished was bc the cover artist I commissioned who’s done covers for bigger artists ran with my money almost $200 and didn’t do shit for half a year, so Zack did it himself and I took my loss and I’m gonna try to get the tape out this year for yall and hopefully I can get another project that isn’t just one full of throwaways out b4 the year ends too

I’m gonna have a lot more freedom in my apartment I won’t be having to deal with pressure of having to record around family who doesn’t understand what I’m doing (though neighbors might be a different story we’ll see 🤷), excited to keep pursuing this when I’m down there and whatever other endeavors I work on (I’ve been slowly working up to another Roblox paintball game in the background as well we’ll see if that fleshes out properly) excited for this next chapter in my life as I turn 21 next week, the next post I make will be showcasing music I’m working on🤞🤞🤞
