A #Catholic priest in #Ecuador has died after a massive wooden crucifix fell on him while he was celebrating Mass, in a tragic incident captured on a livestream. (SWIPE) The victim, Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, was leading a service at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on October 17, 2026, when the large crucifix mounted behind the altar suddenly detached from the wall and struck him. The incident occurred approximately 27 minutes into the livestream, leaving churchgoers screaming and rushing to help. The Archdiocese of Guayaquil confirmed the priest’s death and released a statement expressing condolences to his family, friends and religious community. Sánchez Molinari was a member of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and served as the church’s parish priest. The footage has since circulated widely on social media, sparking shock and grief among viewers. Authorities have not yet publicly established what caused the crucifix to detach from the wall, and the circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear.
Tesla’s Flying Car Is Actually Real Tesla drove the new Roadster up a curved ramp, hung upside down, flipped in midair and landed on its wheels. SpaceX air thrusters did the flying. Then it jumped the whole Tesla lineup and hit 0 to 60 in under one second. Elon Musk said a live crowd had to be there to prove it wasn’t AI. The flying version is invite only and production starts in 2028. Would you actually buy one, and what do you think it will cost? Drop your guess below.
