Being from SC makes me love and hate this country at the same time! Our version of the trail of tears is not fully documented.
All I know is the #santee #wateree #yamassee people were shipped off to parts unknown, killed, murdered or enslaved with African enslaved people.
It’s wild that I have more Eurasian DNA than #indigenous American!
Dem files got nothing on American history!

That's heavy work sorry it's stressful and brings out anger. I have stopped and started several times. My mother looks black but her DNA shows her a biracial almost 50/50, and searching for relatives on the DNA sites I get to 3rd cousins and they're almost all white. 😔
