🇬🇧 You know you’ve officially become British when…

I never thought I’d do half of these… but now they’re just part of my daily life 😂

• You say “Cheers” instead of “Thanks.”

• You apologise when someone else bumps into you.

• You check the weather 10 times… and still take a jacket “just in case.”

• You get excited when the sun comes out for 20 minutes.

• You automatically stand in a queue without anyone telling you.

• You judge people who don’t queue properly 😂

• You call strangers “mate.”

• You start saying “Fair enough” in every conversation.

• You think 15°C feels warm after winter.

• You complain that it’s too hot… then complain it’s raining the next day.

• You know exactly which supermarket has the best meal deal.

• You carry a reusable shopping bag everywhere because you’ll forget it the one day you need it.

• You start planning Christmas before Halloween is even over.

• You hear “Fancy a cuppa?” and immediately say yes.

• You walk into Tesco for one thing… and come out £40 poorer.

• You get genuinely excited when you find a yellow-sticker bargain.

• You start measuring distance in minutes, not miles.
(“It’s only 15 minutes away.”)

• You realise Sunday is for relaxing… or having a proper roast.

😂 Real talk…

The funny thing about living in the UK is that you slowly pick up these habits without even noticing.

One day you wake up and realise… you’ve basically become British.
