The @manchester_nhpd K9 Unit and SWAT team conducted a demonstration today at @swimwithamission Mission 250 at the @tuscanvillagenh. Thank you @swimwithamission for everything you do to support our Veterans and First Responders. Always good to see our friends from the @navyudtsealmuseum in NH! Congrats to SWAM for 10 successful years and Happy 250th USA!

Animals are not tools, weapons, equipment, property, robots or shields to throw into harm's way so humans don't have to risk their own lives doing the job they signed up to do. Animals don't understand human concepts or human dangers. So many dogs endure abusive training, abusive training tools, assault, drug overdoses from exposure, getting hit by cars, left in hot police vehicles and are assaulted by officers. Enough is enough! They have no business being in law enforcement or the military or any other emergency job. Stop abusing and exploiting animals!

Timeless art of horsemanship and the quiet wisdom of nature. Letting go of all unnecessary worries to be centered and grounded in the truth.

The patience to understand, and the compassion to recognise the dignity of every living being. Respecting ourselves and others!

Here’s how to write a hook so good it is scientifically impossible to skip.

This is called the Triple Hook Method.

And if you do this right, it will hypnotize the viewer in a way where they physically cannot scroll away.

Step 1 is the Context.

This is the basic step, but so many people still get this wrong.

Viewers only watch content where they have a vested interest in the topic.

So the first line of the hook must establish context on what the video will be about.

You can say it in the audio, show it in the visuals, write it in the text or caption, ideally all 3 aligned, but this context must be established immediately.

We’ve have data that shows even delaying context towards the end of the first sentence causes the skip rate to go way up.

So priority number 1 is to set immediate context.

Now Step 2 is where most people mess up.

This is the lean.

What you’re trying to do is get someone curious in a certain direction.

You want them to lean in on the context and actively want to hear more.

Now you can make this lean happen in a variety of ways…

But regardless of which method you pick, the viewer must lean in and not opt out.

So when you read back that first 1-2 sentences on its own…is the context clear and is there something curiosity inducing that would make you lean in and want to hear more?

Context Lean…this is what “opens the curiosity loop” you hear people talk about.

Now step 3 is really where the money’s made.

I call this, the Contrarian Snapback.

To catch a fish, you get the hook in its mouth swimming one way, and then you jerk back the other way.

Not to be morbid.

Storytelling is the same way.

The goal is to say something that pulls the viewer away from the direction they were just leaning.

Essentially, snapping them back down another path.

Is the god-tier hook formula that works every single time.
