On Friday, we lost Alley Bugs.

We are devastated.

I’m sharing this because many of you have met Alley, or knew of her from our non-stop yapping. Many people say this about their beloved pets, but she was the best girl. Protector, cuddle bug, adventurer, and so resilient. If she met you, she loved you unconditionally.

I want to thank all of you for loving her and allowing her to love you. If you want to remember her adventures, we’re keeping @printersalleydog

Endless gratitude to Parkers Paws @parkerspawsah43 & their team for caring for her over the years (specifically, Dr. K, Dr. Hooper & Dr. G)

And Rod Newman & his team at Canine Rehabilitation of Nashville @caninerehabnashville . When she tore her ACLs almost 7 years ago, and we found out we couldn’t have surgery, Rod helped to strengthen her mobility, the results of which we were often commended on. She always tilted her head when we said Rod’s name, and I will sincerely miss him calling our girl “kiddo” whenever he saw her. His team loved her and took the best care.

Also to Lap of Love @lapofloveveterinaryhospice. We were recommended this service over and over but nothing could have prepared us for how incredibly kind, respectful and loving the experience would be. In many ways, it was the one of the worst days of our lives, but Dr. Bethany H. is truly aGod-send and we are forever grateful. Thank you also to Neisha at Faithful Companion @faithfulcompanionservices.
