If you had told me 3 years ago that I’d one day think Microbiology is actually cool, I would’ve laughed in your face. 😝

I used to dread Microbiology. I disliked it so much that I skipped a major chunk of it while preparing for FMGE. But after the exam, when I finally sat down to study it properly, I realized it was actually… interesting.

Then came NEET PG prep and somewhere along the way, I genuinely started falling in love with the subject.

Now, as an MD Microbiology resident, there are definitely days when it’s tedious, hectic and then sometimes, even boring. But almost every day, I learn something that leaves me amazed. The more I study it, the more I realize just how fascinating and unbelievably vast this field really is.

So yes… I officially think Microbiology is cool ❤️🦠
