📚 MONDAY MATCHY MATCH 📚

IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE PURPLE AGAIN! 💜🥹

It’s been ages since I last had purple hair, and my gods, I’ve missed it! And that also means, naturally, the first thing I had to do was raid my bookshelves for a matching stack. 💜

Now, considering the frankly unreasonable number of books I own, you’d think finding enough purple ones would be easy. You’d be wrong. My collection is surprisingly lacking in purple, so I’ve done my best with what I could find. A little purple, a little pink, some gorgeous sprayed edges, and a healthy amount of creative interpretation. Close enough, right? 😏

I’m rather pleased with how it turned out, though. And even happier to have my purple hair back! Of course, this does mean I now have a perfectly legitimate reason to buy more purple books. For future Matchy Match stacks, obviously. It’s practically a necessity.

💜 Tell me your favourite purple-covered books! My shelves clearly need some help catching up with my hair.
🏷️ And tagging more of you to do your next matchy match! As is tradition, match with anything you like!

Love,
Vamps 💚

Remain Calm (2026) is a horror-comedy short film starring Pauly Shore, Nick Swardson, and Doug Jones that turns one terrifying concept into a nightmare: what if showing fear could get you killed? The story follows two gas station employees working a lonely night shift when they’re warned about a mysterious creature that hunts anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, or panic. With their lives on the line, the two must somehow remain completely calm while facing something absolutely horrifying. Directed by Jake Lewis, the film blends dark humor, suspense, and supernatural horror into approximately 14 minutes of pure tension.

Fun fact: Remain Calm quickly went viral after its October 2026 release, attracting millions of views online. The unexpected combination of comedy veterans Pauly Shore and Nick Swardson with horror icon Doug Jones caught audiences by surprise. The short has generated so much attention that a potential feature-length adaptation is already being pitched in Hollywood!
