It’s been a year since Matthieu’s debut show at CHANEL. ✨ What a truly magical year it’s been, filled with so many unforgettable moments like these.

When I was sub 10% body fat last year it felt so unsustainable. I was on 1500 calories, and I had on and off flu symptoms all the time. This time I’m doing things the right way.

The biggest differences being:

Consistency with the timing and volume of my cardio.

Tracking every calorie/ macro so I can adjust them as I lose weight or change my activity level

Eating most of my calories before and after lifting.

Eating the least amount of dense foods as possible. (No more dates, dried figs, or nuts)

Getting a fitness watch

And finding a form of cardio that’s addicting.

Running progress is sooooo satisfying. 30+ minutes of jogging every morning is getting a little boring, but I’m hooked on the high of increasing my mileage by 5% every time my body feels great for two or three days in a row.

I’m currently at 22 miles of running per week and 25 ish of cycling. The cycling is what will ramp up a lot over the next few weeks and easily send my maintenance calories up to the 4k range. My knees and Achilles are getting so much stronger from the isometrics. If I stay on track I should be running 26 miles a week and cycling 35-40 by end of October.

The coffee I drink is from @strongcoffeecompany organic beans, and they make protein coffee too
