Vintgar Gorge in Slovenia’s Julian Alps is a beautiful canyon close to Lake Bled on the edge of Triglav National Park. Nature had the wild Vintgar Gorge to itself for more than 10,000 years since the end of the last ice age. More than 600 species of plants can be found along the 1600m path through the gorge for a scenic trail.
