Disney will always be magical but somehow it became even more magical when I started seeing it through his eyes.
The little hand reaching for mine in the crowds. The excitement in his voice when he sees something he loves. The rides we’ll talk about a hundred times, the belly laughs, the pictures, the snacks, the tired snuggles at the end of a long park day, and all the tiny moments in between that no camera could ever fully capture.
Walker and I have become quite the little Disney duo.
One day, he may be too big for me to carry through Disney. He won’t always reach for my hand first and he may not remember every ride we rode or every character we met. But I hope somewhere deep inside him, he always remembers the feeling of these days.
Because when I look back at these trips, I know I won’t remember them because of the castle or the fireworks. I’ll remember the little boy standing beside me beneath them.
This is our mama and son fairytale!
