If we overvalue possessions people get jealous and stealing will become more common.

If we overvalue sex and dress more provocatively people get lustful and rape will become more common.

Showing off wealth and bodies causes the people hearts to remain undisturbed.

Practice non doing, non action in Taoism. Practice wreaking ambitions. Stop aiming for your own gratification, when we pursue selfless action, all the issues caused by selfish action cease to exist 🙏
