Fear<Hope<Presence

Peace is found in presence which sits outside of this dualism.

Peace doesn’t hope, it’s not scared, it’s not expecting a certain outcome.

There is no fear in the present moment. There is no expectation. There is no anxiety.

The present moment is all you ever have. by @tris_upaya

Consciousness is the clearing away of ignorance, trauma and conditioning which enables us to see how the world really works, and to implement the Tao.

The realisation we find on the other side of ego and materialism is that the whole planet is one and that every action against the planet or other beings is ultimately action against your home and children. by @tris_upaya

Education + intelligence = Wisdom

There is a hard limit but most of us are nowhere close.

We could all spend more time learning and understanding. But most of us waste our precious time consuming modern trash media.

The passage of time, discipline and experience all push us to greater wisdom.

The right decisions are taken when we seek consciousness.

Tyranny is avoided when we seek consciousness.

A toxic planet is avoided when we seek consciousness.

Poverty is avoided when we seek consciousness.

Humans extermination is avoided when we seek consciousness. by @tris_upaya

Putting value on status - skills, looks, wealth, possessions, strength will cause issues.

If we overvalue possessions people get jealous and stealing will become more common.

If we overvalue sex and dress more provocatively people get lustful and rape will become more common.

Showing off wealth and bodies causes the people hearts to remain undisturbed.

Practice non doing, non action in Taoism. Practice wreaking ambitions. Stop aiming for your own gratification, when we pursue selfless action, all the issues caused by selfish action cease to exist 🙏 by @tris_upaya

Bitcoin’s “difficulty problem” is a thing of beauty.

With Bitcoin, the creation of money isn’t about digging up half the world to find it.

And it’s not about centralised printing of useless fiat dollars at the expense of those without assets creating a less egalitarian world.

It’s about electricity.

This has been touted as one of the more nefarious mechanisms of the network; but it’s actually the opposite.

It takes electricity to mine bitcoin, and this means mining operations seek out where electricity isn’t being used in order to utilise it cheaply.

This long term energy need in order to mine the best money in the world, means the Bitcoin network will push for long term, high return on investment energy solutions like renewables. by @tris_upaya

All forms of experience increase your understanding and thus gives you greater wisdom. Science can’t describe and understand the richness and importance of a personal existential experience - meditation, psychedelics, theta brain state, chanting - these experience are beyond sciences power of description.

Science is great with describing and explaining primary qualities like size, colour and surface reflexivity. But struggles immensely with secondary qualities which hold the true magic of life - feeling, compassion, love.

If we use scientism to give answers to life, we will live in the sort of beige furnished fascism that we have been working towards for the last 500 years.

We must find a superior model. by @tris_upaya

Like it or not, your partner is a reflection of you, does that please you or embarrass you?

Do you let them outgrow you, do you try and hold them back, or do your push yourself to flourish?

You can try and hold down a flourishing partner or it can be the impetus to raise your vibration.

An attractive partner can bring insecurity. You can control them so you don’t have to feel that jealousy, or you can work on your confidence.

A hard working partner, you may fear they may outgrow you. You can hold them down and tell them to waste time with you, or you can use it as impetus to work hard yourself. by @tris_upaya

Social media ban for children. The ultimate Trojan horse. by @tris_upaya

“The culture is not your friend” - Terence McKenna

Looksmaxxing is gay.

A weak culture will see value in vapid attributes.

A weak man will see value in adhering to the standards of a vapid culture.

Why do you find more value in the cultural beauty standard than things of deep value?

Because you are taking the path of least resistance - aligning yourself with the culture rather than our own notion of what is right and good.

Push back. Stand for what is right, not for what is easy. by @tris_upaya

Freedoms have been lost at a rapid rate in my lifetime.

The internet has been restricted with ID. Dissenting views can take you to prison. Protests can be shut down.

You were even literally told you couldn’t leave your house during Covid.

Freedom takes years to attain, and gets removed very swiftly.

Loss of freedom has never be as consequential as it is today.

The majority of humans have been oppressed by small handfuls of the ruling classes since the dawn of civilisation, and this was before the surveillance capabilities of today.

We have more knowledge now; we can see it coming, but we must learn to act.

The numbers required for revolution are low. It doesn’t require many dissenting voices to subdue a nefarious ruling class.

It just requires a percentage of aware and brave people.

I am truly grateful for the elusive vanguard of freedom fighters that walk amongst us 🙏 by @tris_upaya

Belief - an enemy of truth.

Knowledge with belief is ignorance.

Knowledge without belief is wisdom.

If there is a deeper truth beneath the reality we live in, then our beliefs are not stepping stones towards it, they are walls. by @tris_upaya
