There is a version of this week where you fly to Bali, eat well, and come home with photos that look like everyone else’s.
This is the other version.
Five days on foot across Sumba, west coast to east, around 200 kilometres.
Teams of four, one runner moving at a time.
You sleep in village homes and under canvas, climb into the highlands above Wairinding, and get received in places that do not see many visitors.
You will be tired, hot and further from a hotel than you are used to.
You will also sit down to a welcome at a school where the whole village has prepared to receive you, and meet the children your fundraising feeds.
Nobody comes back from this with the same photos as everyone else.
23 to 29 September 2026. Capped at 5 teams, and the places do not reopen.
