I created a study with me - 30 minutes video. It is up on my YouTube channel! I linked it in my bio. It has been really fun doing this and I am going to make many more. I love synthwave music and enjoy studying to it. I was able to pull out my canon camera from a past life. 💜 #studywithme #studying #personalgrowth #bodydoubling #productivity

that synthwave study setup looks like a solid grind.

sequel mini reviews as always, i feel like i read faster than i can review and post, so here are a few bite-sized reviews of highly anticipated sequels! if you’re curious about my thoughts on book 1 of each respective series, you’ll need to scroll to find those full-sized reviews…i obviously enjoyed them though which is why i picked up the sequel swipe to peek inside my brain! p.s. i love my personalized case from @imcasefl #bookstagram #romantasy #bookrecs #kindle #minireviews the knave and the moon by rachel gillig bartholomew. that’s it. no but really - these characters are so near and dear to me. picks up right where book 1 left off. pacing was fast, and i was having fun/laughed all the way through. adventurous and whimsical, but with a touch of dread and depression this time around. may benji’s pillows never be cold. yearning was top tier as expected. i shed a few tears. ending was satisfying, and rachel gillig can do no wrong. revels on an angel’s grave book 1 was better. did not escape the second book in a series curse. main characters lacked banter and charm as story progressed. continuation of slow burn felt forced and out of place. additional povs (esp. desmond) were my favorite. side couple stole the show. plot became a little convoluted with an abrupt expansion of the world. could be half the length…a bit too much repetition of lines. ending was fairly intriguing though, and book 3 will be seeing me. cursed city read this for the plot…the plot in question: deacon. literally b/c the actual plot and pacing were quite weak, but deacon was not. it’s like i’m summoning deacon with the amount of times i’ve already mentioned him. maybe i’ll say his name three times in front of a mirror next. found family could’ve been developed a bit more as i like the side characters, but this didn’t progress enough…audiobook was great. dragged my feet for the most part, but last 10% was chaotic in the best way.
Was on a good seeding run yesterday at RedBull Hardline BC till the last jump where I ended up going over the bars hard! I’m all good things considering, a few broken bones, but will be back stronger 💪… A massive shoutout to all the paramedics that did a great job of getting me safe to the hospital ❤️. All my team, family and friends for the insane support ❤️🙏🙌🏻. We will be back in no time 😤😤 Will be cheering everyone up in the hill today! Main man @bernard_kerr seeded 2nd with a crash so man is on 🔥. Go HARD 😤
🇳🇿Our mission: cross New Zealand’s South Island from ocean to ocean, starting at the Tasman Sea on the West Coast, crossing the Southern Alps, riding the East Face of Aoraki / Mt Cook, and packrafting hundreds of kilometers of rivers and lakes all the way to the Pacific Ocean! We’ve now made it to the eastern side of the mountains, and this crazy dream is starting to feel possible! Next up: some big mountain riding around Plateau Hut, and fingers crossed for good weather to attempt Mt Cook before starting our long journey down to the ocean! 🤞 . This is Silberhorn here, our first day w our board on :) . W @gaspard_ravanel and @thomas_guerrin . 📸 @thomas_guerrin @yucca_films
