Tried a new recipe and it was yeast based. An interesting experience indeed. my beloved suggested we do the cream cheese icing because it was not sweet at all. Decided to try out my new kitchen gadget to make jumbo white chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 They were big enough for two people to share 🥲 Another day another cookie is made. I’ll try my next gadget to make cookies for school snack next time. ✨💜#homebaker by @yahairajustbrowsing

some days I feel the pressure of everything I’m working on at once.

some days I feel like I can handle it all. I guess at the end of the day you have to ask yourself how important is this to me.

I feel gratitude for being able to dream, and my heart is full seeing my children by my side as I go after mine. I see a lot of creators make inspiring content, but I don’t see a lot with big dreams AND children. your children will either be your excuse, or the ones clapping for you. from where I stand, it’s easier to be the example than to just tell them not to give up. by @yahairajustbrowsing

Checking in with myself at the beginning of the month to make sure I arrive where I want to go by checking off one small step this week. 📋Then we will check in to see if I was successful or not.

Hey, i’m going to believe in myself. Things that are important too are playing uno at the dinner table, watching Y2k shows on Netflix with my favorite gal, and holding the hand of a cutie with glasses.

Somehow if I am busy any time of the month it will always be the first week of the month. This week we get to vote! 🗳️‼️Please please pretty please vote and especially if you are a woman. We did not always have the privilege of owning homes, having bank accounts, or even voting. I will be working as a poll worker on voting day. If you see me make sure to say hello. 👋

It is a real pleasure to be able to support my community. happy monday. What are your goals this week? maybe a nice vacation? maybe grilling some steaks? maybe feel content that today we opened our eyes.

A new month is upon us so that means a new month to set some ambitious goals!
I am giving a life update and talk about some of my tasks I need to complete the first week of August.
₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊
School is back in session and children will be out to begin their studies another year. This year I let out a sigh of relief because it was a very relaxing summer with lots of baked goods. 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅

I’ve linked the study template in the link in my bio. Anyways the academic goals I have this week are pretty intense but, i always love a good challenge. It keeps me going in life to continue to push my personal boundaries of what I can achieve. I will be creating a list of my top priorities this week/month and check in to see “DID SHE DO IT?” I guess lets find out. ✨

Things that have helped me study are: body doubling, gamifying studying and creating cute areas to study at. I set my desk up in a new space that feels a little more private until I can complete my office “she-shed”. What have you been reading and doing?

Let me know what you think of my cookies I made! I took a lot of photos and will share them soon. Sending virtual hugs to anyone that needs them. This week I spoke a lot of Spanish, revisited childhood memories, and baked a “viral” cortadillo / dot cake recipe that’s taken over the baking side of social media 😱🤯. I regret to inform you that it’s a regular cake with sprinklessssss *gasp* I know I know how earth shattering. This cake required 5 total eggs which is a good bit if you ask me. I was on light mode on studying this week because I decided to spend some quality time with my mom. I did not wash a single dish and for that I am grateful. 🥲 we did not get to the lifetime movies but that’s ok. 🙃 In other news I lead a very normal life that is fulfilling. I say key lime-ish pie because I did not have as many limes as I had hoped. Overall, it was super good! This was my first pie dessert and I look forward to making more in the future. I was really nervous making it and then even more nervous 😬 cutting the first piece🙃 a good piece of dessert keeps the soul happy. 💜✨ during my child free week I am trying out various recipes. Some are more photogenic than others. I enjoyed a piece of this pie while deep cleaning. ✨🧹🧺 In other news it is so hot outside that I will likely try out some no baking dessert recipes. I enjoy the process of baking but I enjoy the process of sharing it with others even more. This post feels all over the place… oh well. I am not a huge streaming platform fan, so I looked up on YouTube for @lifetimetv movies. I had no idea that there would be so many options and have watched many of them in the past 2 weeks. I felt like it kept me engaged enough not to let my mind wander. Especially since Lofi music puts me to sleep because I used to sleep to it. I can’t be the only 90’s child who enjoyed Lifetime movies at home as a kid. Right? Right? Folding laundry staring at the tv in the living room… or when our parents had a tv in the kitchen we would have meals staring at this tiny tv 📺! I really love these images I made… wanted a creative outlet as I decompress mentally.

So here I am sharing my 4 favorite movies I’ve watched over the last couple of weeks. I even had a new memory unlocked when I watched one with my mother and daughter. That was a lot of fun since I like to talk during movies... 🥲

I did my best not to give too much away about each movie. Ok bye now!

I knew going into May it was going to be a doozy. I did not think I was going to have some neat opportunities come my way all at once. Learned a lot about myself this month and was able to figure out what study methods work for me. My final exam for the class was very painful. I did not pass it at first but, I did pass it eventually.
