Every Wednesday in August meet at Hangar 24 Brewery at 5pm, gear up, kickstands up at 6pm.. and HOLD ON!

Must have a plated bike to follow along, must have a working light as we often return after sunset, and most importantly you must have a good attitude. It’s hot and dusty, and in some cases challenging. That post ride beer never states better !

Come prepared: fueled up, water pack, working motorcycle.

These rides are intended for smaller bikes >500cc.

Laqaun Williams, 42, of New Jersey, was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison Wednesday after prosecutors revealed he had been caught with more than $2 million in stolen cash, over 1,000 stolen checks, and hundreds of stolen credit card numbers. ________ According to federal prosecutors, Williams operated an elaborate fraud ring across New York and New Jersey between 2021 and 2024, paying people to impersonate bank customers using stolen identities. One stolen U.S. Treasury check alone was worth a staggering $14 million. Investigators also discovered two handguns loaded with hollow point ammunition. Meanwhile, photos submitted in court showed Williams partying in nightclubs, pressing bundles of cash against his face, and practically burying himself in money. ________ What’s even crazier is that Williams had already served five years in federal prison for similar crimes and was still on supervised release when he started scamming again. “For nearly two decades, Williams has been stealing money from innocent bank customers,” U.S. Attorney Jamie McDonald said. The main theme of uniting it all is that there's stuff here from multiple lifting "identities" there's stuff you might call old school hardcore lifting, there's stuff you'd associate with "optimal" science kids. There's a big difference between performative optimality, the stylistic cues and design language used to symbolilize "optimal" on social media (like using machines wrong) and actually problem solving for your goals given a set of parameters. Today theres an anachronistic idea that people should just stick to "good old fashioned" big weights on basic movements and quit trying to invent new movements. But the reality is, that old school lifters were constantly inventing new optimized movements while also lifting big weights on barbells, which by the way, a lot of optimal kids should learn to do.
