It’s TIME AHHH. Diwali fits will have to wait bc navratri first 🍬🍭🦋💓 FENDI BAG?! There’s a new season @fendi bag with mirror work designed with the @chanakya.school which we’ve allllll seen. As a gujrati, chanya cholis are my pride and joy so I knew I had to pull inspiration from the colors for this blouse. When I have a vision, I can not stop thinking about it. Thank you so much @annupatel - no one does kaam like you, this is insane and no one does mirror work like gujrat 🩵 Jewlery is from my Ahmedabad favorite @mortantra 💫 The most perfect oxidized pieces Any brand from Ahmedabad feels like family so if you’re an AMD brand, message me ✨ Scent is @chanel.beauty CHANCE - I don’t know how to explain it but it smells like this outfit. Sweet, candy like, young, floral #garba #navratri #choli
I was delighted to meet Dr. Omar Mohammad, a historian and writer whose work I have long admired, in person today. For years, Omar’s work was famous the world over without anyone knowing his name. His anonymously authored blog, Mosul Eye, became a rare, reliable source of information from inside northern Iraq during the darkest period of ISIS’s control over the region. Omar refused to let his city be destroyed in silence, and he continues to tell the story of Mosul and its struggle for a better future today. His new book documents the work of bearing witness—sometimes while risking everything. I hope it inspires a new generation to defend freedom and transparency as he did and does.
A woman’s role is not defined by a kitchen, and a man’s responsibility doesn’t end with earning. 💯 Cooking, cleaning, and taking care of yourself are **life skills, not gender roles.** 👏 #GenderEquality #LifeSkills #BreakTheStereotypes
From the day I left One Ocean I’ve been asked by friends and strangers about my time there and why I left. This conversation is extremely scary. I’m embarrassed I dealt with being there for so long. I’ve tried my best to erase my association with One Ocean. I want the same thing now that I did the day I left: To not get constantly asked about it, heal, and move on with my freaking life. Hopefully now that it’s out there you can just read this instead of asking me about it. *also I am not patient zero, that woman is one of the fiercest badasses I know
i mind the business that pays me 🫰🏻✨🪄
