Join us for a Black August discussion of two revolutionary figures, George Jackson and Sanyika Shakur with Shaykh Muhammad Abdullah. @sheikhmo99
Shaykh Abdullah is a long time organizer, from the time of the Watts Rebellion in 1965 to taking Shahada from Sanyika Shakur in prison in the 1990’s to his organizing work today amongst the Black Muslim Community. We are unbelievably honored to be hosting him for such an important conversation.
Abu Yahya al Askari of @house_of_mustafa @tribal_circles will join us as well to ground the discussion in the works of George Jackson and Sanyika Shakur. All our welcome and have a militant Black August.
