Sun 23 Aug • Nearly time to perform the whole of Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic album ‘I Am’ at Manchester musical institution @bandonthewall !!
The Phenix horns are such a huge part of this era of Earth, Wind & Fire, and I’ve faithfully transcribed the album material and arranged for a 4-piece live section.
Delivering the impact of those classic Jerry Hey, Thomas Washington & Benjamin Wright arrangements is no small challenge, but @adambidgood @jonnypmurray @georgerhardwick have all risen to the occasion with panache 🤌
With the full 16 piece Infinite Ensemble this music is an unstoppable force of pure joy and we can’t wait to finally bring this to an audience next Sunday.
