I intentionally started with Amerie's All I Have- it's a NYC summer classic album. It's a short album but each song is so well written, produced and engineered. I worked for the Department of Juvenile Justice when they were on 365 Broadway. I got myself a CD player with my first paycheck walked to JR Records and picked up 3 albums that walked with me everywhere. All I Have was one of them.

When you think of summer you think of ease. You don't want heavy makeup. But you still want to look like a bronzed goddess. You want glowing clear skin, bronzed skin, little effort without breaking the bank. Now, if you have any scars or blemishes you want to conceal them so you can wear your legs or back out without being self conscious about it.

When I would ride the E train from the first to the last stop. I had time. 🤣 lots of it. We would study the linear notes of our cassettes and CDs. Amerie was known for her legs. Flawless.

Marrying my 2 loves of makeup and music just seemed like a no brainer.

@delainyfana was my beautiful model for the class and like I said I'm never going to duplicate the exact cover. I want women walking away confidently in their skin. Their features. Some of the album covers I will choose may have some wild makeup. So how can I teach you to let loose and make makeup fun again while still being able to rock the look every day? I think I achieved that.
