My team and I remain on the ground connecting residents with air purifiers, masks, food, water and other critical resources as recovery efforts continue following the Lineage Logistics warehouse fire. Resource distributions will continue this week at Salazar Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I know many East Los Angeles residents are still feeling the impacts of this incident. We remain focused on ensuring residents have access to the support and information they need as recovery efforts move forward.

🛑 S.T.O.P.P. 🛑 Stop Taxing Our Paycheck/Property. Petition to the Members of the California Legislature. We, the undersigned California residents, respectfully urge you to provide meaningful tax relief by introducing and supporting legislation to end state income taxes on workers’ paychecks and eliminate property taxes on owner-occupied homes. California’s high cost of living has placed an enormous financial burden on working families, retirees, and homeowners. We believe hardworking Californians should be able to keep more of what they earn and enjoy the security of owning a home without the ongoing burden of property taxes. We ask you to put the financial well-being of your constituents first by pursuing responsible tax reform that makes California more affordable and strengthens families, homeownership, and economic opportunity. #stopp
