A love letter to the mom who is doing it all: There are days I wonder why motherhood feels so much heavier than I imagined. I think we’re having an identity crisis at times. And then I remember... We’re not just raising kids anymore. We’re managing schedules, building the career, making a thousand tiny decisions, worrying about things our parents never had to think about, be present partners, protect our kids online and in real life, maintaining our marriages and somehow still find the energy to soak up every magical moment because “they’re only little once.” It’s completely beautiful and it’s totally exhausting. And confusing. And most of the work is invisible. This isn’t a complaint. I wouldn’t trade being their mom for anything. ❤️ It’s just a reminder that if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, it doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It might just mean you’ve been carrying more than anyone realizes. So here’s to the moms showing up every day, even when they’re running on empty. I have a feeling I’m not the only one feeling this way. I see you. I am you. I cheer for you. Let’s remind each other we’re not carrying it alone. 🤍
