I made this outfit 4 years ago… and I finally wore it again 🤭

This outfit is a reminder of just how much my sewing has improved. Back then I was scared of my overlocker hence the unfinished seams 😂 But I loved it so much I kept it for all these years and decided recently to alter it so it fit me again.

I wore it to celebrate the launch of my sister’s new brand @islandsgold and it felt like the perfect outfit for this special occasion. She’s such a boss and I’m so proud of her 🥰

Bringing this outfit back out of my wardrobe was also a reminder that intentional sewing isn’t about making the perfect garment, it’s about making thoughtful ones. Techniques will grow with every project, so will confidence. But when you create pieces you love, that truly reflect your style they’re the ones you’ll come back to, alter, rewear and make new memories in year after year!
