3 months agoI went through a similar evolution in my 40 plus year career as a Fountain Artist. I just enjoyed and wanted to make fountains because I enjoyed it. I needed to make a living. Many different business "tracks" over the years. First Florists, then Restaurants, Lobbies, Home and Garden shows, Distributorship to garden shops, private commissions, sculptural pieces through galleries and the art show circuit, now retired because my lower back gave out (lightweight concrete is an oxymoron); currently enjoying, maintaining, and showing off to the neighbors and little town a private collection of my own work. I may teach. Good luck. Stay young at heart!
