‼️We were just as offended as Commissioner Oliver Gilbert @ogilbert3 by #AGI’s (Alliance Ground International) conduct.
🔸On March 30th, #AGI cargo worker Pedro Frometa went directly to AGI’s HR offices and requested to view their OSHA 300 injury logs that show workplace injuries and illnesses. Management failed to provide the information in the time required by law. Less than a month later, Pedro’s wife became seriously ill. While Pedro was busy caring for his wife, AGI fired him on May 13, during his most vulnerable moment.
🔸On July 13th, on behalf of Pedro, we gave an update to the Miami-Dade Aviation & Seaport Committee.
🔸After the union exposed AGI’s poor behavior to the public, the company offered Pedro his job back. But the injustice of Pedro’s initial termination remains.
‼️AGI’s conduct raises serious questions about its treatment of its workers. AGI cargo workers deserve transparency, dignity, and the right to speak up about safety.
