In the game against Egypt, Messi missed a PK. And rather than put his head down, he just walked off steady. Why? Because he knew his reaction sets the tone for everybody. If he looks defeated, the whole team feels defeated. If he stays calm, they stay in it.
He feels the frustration just like anyone, but he chose not to show it outwardly. That’s the discipline.
