“Invisible to AI, visible to humans.” 🤖🔎
Meet
@capable.design, the Italian fashion-tech label knitting “adversarial” AI patterns into clothes that scramble facial-recognition cameras - no balaclava required.
Founder Rachele Didero’s logic is unnervingly simple, “I can change my name, but I cannot change my fingerprint-or faceprint.” And on consent? “In the digital world, we have the opportunity to say yes or no to cookies. But in the physical world, we might not even know there’s a camera,” she told CONE Magazine.
Tested against the YOLO detection system, the garments read as “dogs, zebras, or giraffes” instead of you. GDPR-legal, 100% Made in Italy, and - crucially - actually cool. Privacy as a fashion statement.
Would you wear a jumper that turns you into a giraffe? 🦒
