Do you know how our garments are made? 🧐

The technological innovation behind this project lies in the creation of a system capable of transposing adversarial images (called adversarial patches) onto a knitted fabric. These images can be used to deceive people detectors in real time and before our research, they had only been printed in 2 dimensions.

Not only: the Manifesto Collection is a knitted fashion capsule collection made with 100% super soft Egyptian cotton yarns by @filmarnetwork . This company adheres to the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), for the safeguarding of people and the planet. Our garments are free of dangerous chemicals and are 100% Made in Italy. 🤩 by @capable.design

AI doesn’t just see.

It can remember.

And when AI connects what it has seen before with what it sees now, it can start to predict what might happen next.

A person disappearing behind a wall.
An object left somewhere.
A pedestrian changing direction.

The more observations a system can connect over time, the more it can learn about patterns, behaviours and routines.

Which brings us to a bigger question:

For years, Computer Vision has been focused on one question:

What is in this image?

Today, that question is changing.

AI is beginning to understand context—how people, objects, space, and time relate to one another.

This shift isn’t only about building better AI. It’s also about what these systems can infer about us.

As AI understands more context, the conversation expands beyond performance to include privacy, agency, and the way we design intelligent systems.

One of our biggest takeaways from PY4AI (Python & AI International Conference) is that the future of Computer Vision won’t be defined only by what AI sees—but by what it understands.

Sta emergendo una nuova categoria di design chiamata adversarial clothing: capi progettati per confondere alcuni sistemi di riconoscimento basati sull’intelligenza artificiale, trasformando la privacy in un elemento da indossare. Più che una tendenza, è una presa di posizione culturale.

Tra i nomi che stanno guidando questo movimento c’è @capable.design , startup fashion-tech italiana che ha sviluppato e brevettato una tecnologia capace di integrare pattern “avversari” direttamente nel tessuto.
