Live on @7plus scroll to find @firstdatesau and hit the box that looks like this pic… @mel_sheppard1 was a sweet surprise, she did have the advantage of having been on a film set before but I had no idea of that or who she was… I got to read off a blank canvas and she was a beautiful vase of flowers and a stunning sunrise, I think its societies biggest issue is we can take a soft seat in the back and judge through a lens that only you see… mass media has made it impossible to not make mass penetration so extreme measures are used to get your eyeballs, eyeballs equals money, but as my mothers godfathers son, Rupert Murdoch has quoted, it’s a race to the bottom. Fortunately for me First Dates has built a beautiful safe place to be yourself and there is a bit of tweaking but all in all it’s played out 100% the way it was in my experience… Mel unfortunately might not have received such a duty of care in the past but we all need to run a bath and check the temp of the water before you put your kids in. #firstdates #firstdatesau

Thank you for sharing this. ❤️ I couldn’t agree more that we should never judge someone through an edited lens or a few moments on a screen. Every person has a story, and kindness will always matter more than public opinion. I’m so happy to see Melissa @mel_sheppard1 spoken about with such compassion and respect. She’s just Devine and Endemole shine along with channel nine are cruel ruthless bullies who don’t care about humanity. Reality TV can never capture the whole person, and everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. Thank you for reminding people that duty of care, empathy, and humanity should always come first. Melissa deserves nothing but happiness, healing, and every success. We need more conversations like this. 🙏❤️💯
