So here’s the story. At the start of last month I went to @willowbankraceway for WinterNats. For shits and giggles I took my old Canon A1 film camera loaded up with Ilford HP5. Terrible for day time shooting but it was already in the camera and I wasn’t going to change it. Anyway, I spent a bit of time trying to work out focus and timing before the top fuel cars lined up to race. This was the first or second of the session and I remember it blowing up and hoping I got the shot, but forgot all about it until tonight. So to say I was excited is an understatement. Is it perfect? Hell no! But I still love the shot. Partly pure ass, partly planned. Either way, I was bloody stoked to see this one.
