Over the last year, we’ve had limited access to our college Instagram account. Despite trying every available option to regain full access, we haven’t been successful. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to close our old account and start fresh. This new beginning will allow us to create the engaging, accessible, and up-to-date platform our students truly deserve. We’d love your support as we begin this new chapter. Please follow our new Instagram account and help us spread the word by sharing it with fellow students, staff, alumni, and friends. We can’t wait to share exciting updates, student achievements, events, and much more with you! Thank you for your understanding and continued support 🔥💫

My dad had a mental breakdown when I was a senior in high school. When I was a freshman in college, he spent a week in a psychiatric hospital. He spent much of his adult life with chronic depression. And he was a son of God. A beloved son of God. He was a pastor. He was an amazing father. When I received his study Bible after he passed four years ago, I opened the inside flap and it said, Depression Stoppers. Lined with scriptures he would read over himself every single day. Comment “depression stoppers” and I’ll DM you the list. 🤎 Calling is not built from your strengths alone. It is built from your wounds. From the things you survived. From the pain you walked through that nobody else could see. Nothing is wasted. Not one generation of it. Not one hard night of it.

After months of hardship and a heartbreaking abandonment, Georgia is finally home! When 9-year-old Dachshund Georgia walked through our doors she weighed a shocking 32 pounds. She was surrendered to us after being found in an empty apartment. Her former owner had entered a hospice program after being diagnosed with cancer. Due to her owner’s illness, it was clear that Georgia’s care had been neglected for quite some time, resulting in her massive weight gain. So we set a plan in place to get this sweet girl healthy again. Since coming into our care, she has already lost 2 pounds, and just this past weekend, she found her forever home. Her new family is so excited to continue to help her get healthy so she can enjoy her golden years feeling comfortable and loved. Happy Tails, sweet Georgia!
