We hosted some Japanese boys from Kyoto about a year and a half ago through my sonโs high school- my 15 year old son can speak really good Japanese and was an amazing host! Anyhow, I let them have all my Othani cards as a departing gift. I donโt even know what I had, but I knew they were all rookies because I bought them when he 1st debuted. Hopefully those boys got some good stuff๐ช

I bought the Ohtani debut Independence Day shortly after release in 2018 for $30. I sold it a few months later for $150 and thought I made a great flip.
