3 months agoHey Eyal, can you warn young musicians about how unlikely - near impossible - it is to become a successful musician if you have an introverted/antisocial personality? This is something nobody ever talks about, but it’s a big problem. And it’s almost a catch 22 - in order to lock yourself in your room and practice for hours on end to become a virtuoso, you almost have to be kind of antisocial. But then it’s like good luck being sociable enough to find bandmates and actually become a thing people are interested in.

3 months agoThe thing that held me back for a long time was fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of rejection. Really dumb stuff but once you push that aside and realize it’s the only way to get better I’m skill and work has started to open up tremendously. Don’t make my mistake just do it
3 months agoPersonally I think it’s either lack of will to invest in a proper setup or just don’t have the means to, or people just don’t want to have to become a producer to share their work with others and just want to stick to their instrument. Me personally I post all one take clips recorded on my phone. If I had the money to invest in a computer and a DAW I’d definitely do it tho
