And with that, this years entry for @mithrilbrush online painting competition is done! The moment i saw this sculpt right from my childhood playing Battle for Middle Earth - Rise of the witch king on Reddit i knew i had to make it my miniature for this years entry. I wish i could have taken more time - but life was busy as of late and im happy with it. I really start to enjoy the sloppy, messy venture into Non metallic metal - failing upwards as it goes :) Also: Birb on Base so just gimme gold, common! ;)

Peak @male era 🤞 - There was a time when kids would spend entire afternoons outside, riding bikes around the neighborhood, playing basketball, or finding friends to hang out with. Most plans happened spontaneously, with someone simply knocking on a friend’s door or calling them from outside. Today, more childhood entertainment takes place indoors, with video games, social media, and streaming replacing some of those everyday outdoor experiences. Neighborhoods that once had groups of kids playing until the streetlights came on can feel much quieter. For many adults, those simple afternoons outside remain some of their favorite memories of growing up.

This stunning riverside country pub @thealbanypubtd has undergone a gorgeous makeover, also on their huge terrace area on the riverbank 🙌🏻🤗 So uniquely furnished for an establishment like this on the river with all paintings showing different images of the river thames. There is also a gorgeous room which can be booked for parties etc called the valentine lounge. And I was told their new chef used to work at the Ivy. No complaints whatsoever with the food or my surroundings, just delicious and gorgeous 🤩 What I chose… Nibbles, PULLED PORK, CHEEK & ASPALL CROQUETTES. Starters, PORT & CHEDDAR MUSHROOMS & RUSTIC BREAD. SEA SALT & BLACK PEPPER SQUID, CALABRIAN CHILLI MAYONNAISE. Main course from the main menu… PAN-ROASTED LAMB RUMP, Baby potatoes, chorizo, Tenderstem broccoli. From the chefs specials menu… PAN-FRIED TURBOT, Gnocchi, kohirabi pickle, yellow thai curry, tomato and spring onion salsa. Everything was absolutely delicious 😋 I even took a doggy bag home as I couldn’t waste anything 🤪 Thank you so much for having me and for the staff who were very kind and lovely and looked after me very well. Look forward to visiting again soon and trying out dining on your stunning terrace. #invite #thealbanythamesditton #countrypub #pubontheriver #surreyrestaurant
