📌 Save this for your future trip to Albania

Welcome to a country that has everything. And at a much lower cost than some of its Mediterranean neighbours. Albania is a country with incredible mountainous regions in the north, and equally beautiful beaches along its south coast. It’s a place that is cheap, wild in places, incredibly scenic, and still flying under the radar compared to the rest of Europe.

For context, we spent around 9 days exploring both the North and South of the country. You can pack a lot in to a relatively short amount of time in the country; another reason to visit!

Some things you should really consider doing while you’re there:

💦 VISIT KOMANI LAKE
A stunning place flanked by green cliffs and amazing turquoise waters (some parts look a little like Jurassic Park). There are plenty of places to stay right on the water’s edge!

🗻THETH
Found in the north of the country, Theth is probably the most ‘must-visit’ place in the whole of the country in my opinion. Here you can find things like the Blue Eye, Grunas Waterfalls, and the world renowned Theth-Valbona hike.

☀️HIMARE
If you want to visit the South of the country you must visit Himare, especially the old town. You’ll find amazing beaches in this region and some fantastic history. The castle of Porto Palermo is a must, along with Guma beach (a personal favourite).
