Work in progress - Self-portrait (20 yo), 2025

Oil paint over oil ground - Cotton

From the series “Yearnings”

100 x 70 cm

Many of my friends have told me that I should upload my work even when it’s unfinished, so I’m uploading this self portrait, past year was so intense in many ways, this painting was one of the products of constant stress, a silence that burns inward. It’s not rage, it’s pure powerlessness and frustration.

I have to give a special thanks to my master @ramon.alex.hurtado , who has always supported me in the best possible ways, I consider him a friend, a colleague and a wonderful teacher, I would not stand where I’m without him.

And to everyone who has support me emotionally and technically: each of you holds a place in my heart.
