When I visited CLT 3 years ago to tour the city to see if it was a good fit, I came to a Tuesday run. It is not an over statement to say that the experience made my decision a lot easier.

These photos are a small glimpse of the joy and community I've been blessed with since I arrived 2 years ago. Much of that blessing stems from relationships that began at #madmilesrunclub.

Being a part of this club has afforded me the opportunity on many occasions to bear witness as people learn to believe in themselves, and dare to not only surpass their own expectations; but break free from limitations placed on them by others. We champion each other's wins, share our losses, and shoulder burdens for one another.

At a time when bad actors are constantly at work to fracture our communities and disband safe spaces we curate for ourselves, it is imperative that we use our powers of discernment more meticulously.
