![#JenniferLopez is reportedly facing some behind-the-scenes drama over her upcoming $100 million Netflix thriller, “The Last Mrs. Parrish.”
Page Six reports that J.Lo has allegedly butted heads with director Robert Zemeckis over the film’s final cut following reportedly disappointing test screenings. One insider claimed, “She’s tried to take it over. She fancies herself a filmmaker,” adding that Lopez had been spending time in the editing room. The source continued, “Behind the scenes, everyone’s saying it’s a #BlakeLively [situation].” The comparison references Lively’s highly publicized dispute with director and co-star Justin Baldoni over their competing visions for “It Ends With Us.”
Another source alleged Lopez was attempting to take control of the editing process, but suggested she was simply trying to “salvage” the project. However, Lopez, Zemeckis, and #Netflix have strongly denied allegations of any tension, issuing a joint statement calling the allegations “categorically false.” Netflix also pushed back on claims that the film performed poorly during screenings, insisting, “The film tested well, particularly with fans of Jennifer.”
The upcoming thriller, expected to arrive in 2027, stars Lopez alongside Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Isabel May. Based on the bestselling novel, the story follows a con artist who infiltrates a wealthy couple’s lives with plans to replace the wife, only to discover her target has secrets of her own.](https://s6.imginn.com/871758822_18478876447114396_8613702858090564943_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/871758822_18478876447114396_8613702858090564943_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_p720x720_tt6&_nc_cat=108&ig_cache_key=NDAxODE1MDI1NzUwNTg5NTExOQ%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkZFRUQueHBpZHMuMTA4OC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=_2hru6hkUY4Q7kNvwE2BXAK&_nc_oc=AdpKuz_VmisRKyIymG7twsawZQ1--nC-6eGHYB8Ia7gUwNmgshr0O0jxOGEaxJYt_6gDF-CZWLh9JJVPOnazCqvD&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=__gD2vghMrF4ri3fkFHNpA&_nc_ss=70580&oh=00_AQR6yBPsI-zyu_E1rCs8O6PxFVNxArxoQdOdSMdiqsaixg&oe=6AED4541)
