@galaxyconraleigh never disappoints and today was another reminder of why we love covering conventions.
Walking onto the show floor with our press passes gave us the chance to experience everything that makes this hobby special. From wall-to-wall comics and collectibles to incredible cosplay, celebrity guests, and creator meet-and-greets, there was something exciting around every corner.
One of the biggest highlights of the day was adding more signatures to the collection. We had the opportunity to meet and get books signed by Brett Breeding, Alyssa Wong, Bob Hall, Bob McLeod, Bob Budiansky, J.M. DeMatteis, David Michelinie, and Christopher Priest. Every signature came with a conversation, a story, or a memory that made the books even more meaningful.
We also spent time meeting some amazing voice actors, talking with fans, checking out artists and vendors, and taking in the energy that only a convention like GalaxyCon can bring. Whether you’ve been collecting comics for decades or you’re just discovering the hobby, it’s impossible not to feed off the excitement on the show floor.
As members of the press, we’re grateful for the opportunity to share these experiences with everyone who follows along. There are plenty more photos, videos, creator spotlights, and pickups still to come, so stay tuned.
A huge thank you to GalaxyCon for having us. It was an absolute blast.
We’re worn out after an amazing day at GalaxyCon. Time to kick back, recharge, and sort through everything we captured today. We’ll have plenty more pictures and highlights to share tomorrow.
