One year ago, The Comic Syndicate was founded with a simple mission: bring comic collectors, readers, and creators together under one banner. What started as a small idea has grown into an amazing community, and now it’s time to celebrate.Welcome to the 2nd Annual Comic Crossover Event—our biggest event of the year and the official celebration of The Comic Syndicate’s 1-Year Anniversary.All month long, members and the comic community are invited to join in with daily themes, showcase incredible books, discover new creators and collectors, build connections, and celebrate everything that makes this hobby great.Whether your passion is Marvel, DC, indie comics, manga, horror, keys, slabs, original art, or reading your weekly pull list, this event is for you. Secrets of Haunted House #10DC Comics, 2-3/78CGC 9.8 (White Pages)Michael Wm. Kaluta cover1 of 2 Highest Graded on CGC CensusHere is another great standout cover illustrated by the great Mike Kaluta for you lovers of Bronze Age horror! The cover story in Secrets of Haunted House #10 is a crazy little tale titled “Hell of a Place!,” where Satan is deposed by a mortal who transforms Hell into a high-rise resort. In this tale, Satan signs a 10-year contract with a mortal. The mortal renovates Hell by eliminating flames and torments, replacing them with mansions and high-rise apartments. This causes a surge in the soul quotient of damned souls eager to check in!This devilishly fun tale was written by Jack Oleck, with other stories in this issue by Richard Morrissey and Bob Rozakis. There are only 11 copies of this book on the CGC census, with only 2 copies in grade 9.8. SkinbreakerTreasury EditionIssue 8#wecurate Morning, Afternoon and EveningThe comic series worth adding to your personal collection.Its #sinistersaturday at#thecomicsyndicate How is everyone?Summer is just around the corner, and thankfully we got some sunshine over here to kick start it.Issue 8 of Skinbreaker came out recently, which is the end of this very beautifully illustrated comic in and out.Im not up to date, but reading the first couple issues does make you want to keep on reading, keep on collecting. It was a solid start from Robert Kirkman, and I cant wait to finish this series.David Finch and Annalisa Leoni brought their A game with amazing Covers and artwork. The colours used are outstanding.What do you think?
