“Gnosis” — now on view and available at Long Weekend 🎨
This piece comes from Cuban street artist Fabián López, known for the masked, faceless figures he’s been painting across Havana’s walls for years — signed with his tag “2+2=5?”, a nod to the passage in Orwell’s 1984 where the Party forces people to accept that two plus two makes five. López has said the phrase is really about his own freedom to see things differently than he’s told to.
His work has traveled from the streets of Havana to galleries internationally, always carrying that same thread of quiet defiance.
32 x 25 | $1,550
