this is called a snowflake payment and it’s one of my favorite ways to pay off debt without feeling it ❄️ thanks to this i hope that we will be debt free in less than two years. 🙌
the idea: every time a tiny bit of unexpected or leftover money shows up, you send it straight to debt.
CHF 3 here. CHF 1.50 there. CHF 13 from returning something you didn’t need in the first place. none of it feels like a sacrifice. all of it chips away at the balance.
this is what I do on top of our regular payments. it’s not dramatic. it works because it’s so small you never feel it. over time it becomes a whole payment you never planned for.
the best part? it rewires how you think about spare change. it stops being “nothing” and starts being progress. now before I buy something I stop to think twice.
