Where the Snails Go Theatre Co.

Happy National Tree day! This year marks 30 years since @planetark has been calling people from all over this continent to come together for at least one day, to get their hands dirty and plant some trees.

We think today is the perfect day to share the first sneak peek of our gorgeous photos from our premiere season of 'Beneath Our Feet'.

The show revolves around the action of collectively planting an Acacia Melanoxylon (Blackwood Wattle) seed, this is a catalyst to journey down into the soil to ensure the soil is healthy for our seed to grow into a tree.

Then at the end of each show we give families a 'Grow at Home' kit that are filled with a selection of Kangaroo, Wallaby and spearhead grass seeds. These seeds were kindly donated by Carrum Indigenous Nursery who are an amazing volunteer run organisation on Boonwurrung Country. 🌱
