april we did leg two! reaffirmed my love for lutruwita, went to mona, standing O’s at the opera house (!!!) and departed while the team headed to the UK! biggest love to @blakdance and @garylang_ntdancecompany for taking me on my first big girl tour! by @emhlgt

march 🤪 managed to finish leg one, come home, see my friends, see some shows, see some of my friends shows, traded back of truck for back of trailer to help friends move, dogsit, tear my hair out about comms (beefing with riedel iykyk) and then head right back for leg two! taking it easier this year is going well I’d say! by @emhlgt

booked ✅ busy ✅ blessed ✅ (a little burnt out ✅)

trying to be gentle with myself considering I don’t have an answer for when people ask me “how do you manage all of your time?” because the truthful answer is go until can’t go no more. TOSOM > The Shepherds > BOF - how am I supposed to take a break when everyone keeps making cool stuff that I get to watch and help make?

good at telling other people to look after themselves - bad at listening to own advice. incredibly grateful for the professional and personal support systems around me that remind me sometimes it’s okay to wait a bit to reply to that email or to know that just because I could make it work that doesn’t mean never saying no.

but let me tell you, I’m pretty excited about what’s coming up, not that I’m bias, but everything I work on is cool and with cool people. nice 😎

Where the Snails Go Theatre Co has officially bumped out of the David Li Sound Gallery. Thank you to all the humans of Family Fiesta that came through our shrinkinator’s door. We hope you had fun and go on to enjoy planting your indigenous grass seeds at home 🌱

Thank you to @monashpac for the time, connections, space and financial support to help our seed grow and turn into our first show. We are eternally grateful!
We 10/10 recommend that theatre folks keep their eyes and ears peeled for the Progress link commission EOI in the future.

More gratitude and huge thanks to come, but for now we are going to have a little rest ✨

Reviews are in! The young people of Family Fiesta have spoken and ‘Beneath Our Feet’ is a world where so many young people don’t want to leave. We are overjoyed by the curiosity and magic these kids are bringing to our earthen home.
