A community lost their 100-year-old synagogue in the Eaton Fire. They painted a mural on the one wall left standing that reads “We are all responsible for each other,” a message of hope for the whole neighborhood that burned, not just for them. This week someone covered it in swastikas and the words “Zionism is not welcome.” It’s the second attack on that exact wall this year.
You don’t have to be Jewish to feel this one. Just human.

i checked up on the meaning of the word "kristallnacht." we are always told it means the night of "broken" glass, but actually it means the night of "pretty" glass. there is always some way of using words that hides what is actually being done. when they say it is for the "children," they mean it is for the land. they can't leave the land to save their lives, because the land is what is important to them, not the children.
