Going back to scheduled programming after a few patriotic weeks, feels heavy.
Did you hear about the girl with buttons?
A girl recently posted that she would be collecting a button for each day of the year.
Someone asked her what the buttons would signify? Did they mean something?
She responded that her collecting buttons didn't have to mean something to anyone else, as long as it made her happy.
I felt that to be so true. Its possible, many of us (myself included) may not understand what I post, but not everything always has to make sense to everyone. Sometimes, you've just got to be supportive if the other person found happiness in it.
1. Asafoetida in the air. I found this advert for asafoetida (HING MASALA) comically ridiculous because the company's called Aeroplane, and the advert was on a heavy bench made out of cement.
2. A dead green beetle. I tried to Google Lens it but it has way too many spots. I loved that they looked like the white splotches I make while painting.
3. The Pink Shikhara.
4. Road used by Goats. Herds of goats passed by this road but I was never present at the right time.
5. God in golden chambers.
6. and 7. Massive carvings on the floor. I'd never seen carvings like that on the floor of a temple before.
8. Baby photo wall. Parents that prayed for a baby at this temple, will bring a framed photo of their newborn to confirm that they did in fact receive their blessing. You'll find this across many obscure shrines/temples.
